I’m a believer in timber houses, in that it’s a pretty good investment if you’re buying for the long term and it’s sustainable.
I’m also not too keen on the timber homes that are being sold right now.
But they’re not really timber homes.
They’re more like houses built on foundations of timber.
They have all the same issues.
I can understand people wanting to live in a house that’s built on top of a piece of timber and it will probably last for a lifetime.
But what about if the house itself gets torn down and replaced with a new house on the same site?
Then it’ll be a completely different house.
That’s what happened with the new home in the village of Pheasantwood in Tasmania.
The owner had bought a house on land in the area and had started renovations, but he wasn’t happy with the way they were progressing.
So he decided to sell the old house, which had been in the family for generations.
So there were lots of problems with the building process, but I was able to get in touch with him and we got him in touch, so we had a discussion and we both agreed that he’d like to keep the house.
He also wanted to renovate it to improve the area.
So the renovation process went very smoothly.
We went through the whole process with him, and the whole house itself had been completely renovated.
There were a lot of improvements that were done, so the whole building is a total success, he says.
He’s also very interested in the future of the area, so he wanted to sell off some of the old houses.
So that’s what we did.
We took the houses and we put them in a box, which is a very good idea because they’ll be on a lot less land.
And then we sold them at auction, which was a great deal.
I think that was one of the reasons that I bought a home, to have something that I could have my own backyard and build something that’s going to last.
But I’m still keen to have a timber house.
